I have given birth twice and though bounced back pretty well, my now 42 year old body is different for it. I am able to offer gratitude to my body for all it has done, for the healthy pregnancies and healthy babies it lovingly produced. Now 6 years later and 10 pounds heavier then I've been, not pregnant, I am considering having another child with my new love. I have cellulite, a loose mama belly rolls and flaccid skin. It will be harder to bounce back this time. And yes, it is amazing to grow and give birth to a baby. I cried through your photos! I saw the beauty and perfection of your body. I admire and appreciate your courage! I mourned my babies, now 6 and 9 as I gleamed at the photos of your brilliant child. And I cried with joy at the possibility of giving birth to a son of my own. This is real! All of it! Your body, your gratitude, your dimples, your pain! And your willingness to share it inspires us all I am quite sure!
